The Fellowship of Bicca Biccasson is completed!

As it says on the tin, the final three figures portraying the Hirdmen serving Bicca Biccasson in his Saga are finished. The figures are from Matt's Footsore Vikings, the bases from Warbases, and the shields transfers from LBMS ~

As with all the figures I've shown so far I've added some snow effect to the bases since taking the photos. Now, brace yourselves for a closer look ~

And with Grïhm, the Frost Giant ~
For those who fear I may be teetering on the brink of the Dark Side there's no need to despair. I've also finished a base of five Late Roman Cataphractarii and started work on some Saxon/Goth Skirmishing Light Infantry for the Late Roman collection. More on these anon...

  1. Very nice indeed, they look grand and the frost giant works really well, cracking work on them.

  2. Excellent work again David and Matt's sculpts have a nice and realistic animation too them, with lovely detail too:). The frost giant does look good and bigger than I first thought.

    1. Thanks SteveJ, I do agree the giant improves when seen against mortal men. Matt's sculpts are simply the best, not that I'm biased you understand.

    A fine body of adventures…
    A Frost Giant and a Dragon…
    What’s next ?
The King of the Elves ? 🤯
Whatever it is I am sure you will do it justice.

    All the best. Aly

    1. Your encouragement is very much valued Aly, thank you. Elves, you say? Wide of the mark I'm a feared. Try Draugr though...😉

  4. Inspirational as I have my first dozen of the Kickstarter Vikings under the brush though nowhere near completion.
I look forward to the Goths and Romans - if Footsore hadn't made the Vikings I would probably have bought their Goths - perhaps eventually when the Vikings are done I will but it's going to take me some months yet I expect. Thanks for sharing your progress.
    Slow but sure,
    Stephen

    1. Thanks Stephen, I hope to see yours posted when you've worked them through. No more Vikings this year though, more Late Romans to process first.

  5. Very nice work all round! Fine figures indeed completed to a very high standard I would say. Side projects are always good to diversify and experiment with different ideas.

    1. The figures really are a joy to paint and are full of movement and detail. Not to all tastes of course but then I'm hardly a neutral.

  6. Absolutely beautiful miniatures, and very well painted and based.
    Will Bicca have a boat?

    1. Thank you Andy! I'd not thought that far ahead yet, just figures first.
