The Warriors with spears and round hide shields will join their fellows in the P'Doki element of future games.
They might resist Colonial forces under Robinson of the River, ally with Arab Slavers for a quick profit, ambush an Explorer's or Big Game Huner's expedition, or even defend the Lost City of R'Nzli against exploitation by a determined archaeological expedition ~
That's it now for a while, as Sue and I are off for some R&R down in the South West. Fingers crossed for better weather than is currently forecast for next week! I'll close with an old friend you will have seen before ~

Some wonderful characters in that series and your brushwork has nicely and sympathetically added to that.
ReplyDeleteThank muchly Norm for the positive support!
DeleteGreat additions to your collection, very nicely done, enjoy your break.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie! We will do our best!
DeleteWell done on managing to paint during this rather warm spell David! Excellent work as always:). At 6.00am it was 22C in the hallway, which was a bit of a surprise for that time of the morn. Last night the car showed 40C when i popped out to see a friend, which made holding the steering wheel a bit of a challenge! Love the poster of RotR! Enjoy your break and let's hope the weather does improve...
ReplyDeleteCurrently 31.5°C here this afternoon! Managed to finish two more figures and vegetate their bases. I hoped that the poster would strike a chord with someone. My money was on you or Norm.
DeleteAll very 'Ripping Yarns', with many tales of 'derring do' etc to follow I'm sure!
DeleteRobinson of the Raj next then?
DeleteNice looking group of figures. Looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteThank you! In the painting queue post holiday are two more groups of spear armed P'Doki warriors and an Askari mountain gun and three crew.
DeleteMost splendid! I suppose I had better get rebasing my collection. There is sure to be some fair lady in need of rescue from the clutches of those nefarious natives.
ReplyDeleteThank you m'dear! With your collection too we can set out a fine game.
DeleteLooking forward to the African adventures to follow.
ReplyDeleteSo am I Matt, so am I.
DeleteGreat stuff as ever, enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteThank you George, on both counts!
