Pour Encouragez les Autres?

Just in case any of my fellow wargaming enthusiasts are suffering from the perennial difficulty of 'too many projects' angst, a few words of encouragement I found on Facebook recently~

Seems like good advice to me! Steadies the nerve at any rate! Now, off for a cortisone injection in my hip. Joy!

    1. It's certainly places us all in the mainstream I'd guess.

  2. Fits me to a T! I've one project that's been ongoing, in fits and starts, since the mid 1970's.

    1. The mid 1970's? That's impressive dedication by any standards!

  3. It appears that I have not nearly enough projects on the go, when were we planning that trip to Foundry?

  4. David. Thanks so much for this! I have shown it my wife as justification for spending far far too much money in the last couple of months on existing projects and a new one. The latter is all down to you my friend, as I have been bitten by the French Revolutionary War bug (or louse?) and ordered a boatload of French and Russians off Trent and Eureka. Will I be around in 27 years to see them finished???????

    1. Hurrah! A new project! Just what was needed! I'm glad you have chosen the FRW too. Did you see my pieces in June & July's Wargames Illustrated by any chance? How are the Sikhs by the way?

    2. Yes, I saw the articles. They helped tip me over the edge.

Sikhs are on ice indefinitely now. Cant be bothered with them. May even clear them out. We shall see.

    3. Glad the pieces were well received! Sorry to hear about the Sikh Wars, I was looking forward to seeing your collection and games!

    4. Everything done except Sikh irregular Gorchara cavalry, which I have, and Bengal Light cavalry which are not yet available so that's why it's ground to a halt :-(

  5. I keep telling my wife that I am not the only one whose collection threatens to bring the house down due to its increasing weight. That last bit is almost a metaphor for my expanding waistline too...
